Indian High School

Indian high school is a part of the Indian Education society (IES) which was established in the year 1978 with the sole objective of imparting quality education to children. It is distinguished by its unique approach towards value-based learning by leveraging the best practices of both traditional and contemporary systems of education. IES started its first venture as a humble school in Basaveshwaranagar, Bengaluru, with a handful of enrolments. By the devoted dedication of our founder Mr. M A Anand ably supported by the secretary madam Mrs. H M Sowbhagya Lakshmi, today we have grown into one of Bengaluru’s leading group of institutions providing quality education to thousands of students with branches at Basaveshwaranagar, Manjunathnagar, Shivanagar, Kamalanagar, Nagadevanahalli and Channapatna.

The Indian High School (IHS), which is affiliated to the Council of The Indian School Certificate Examinations New Delhi, started in the year 2015 in Nagadevanahalli. Since then, the school has grown phenomenally with exemplary staff and a good strength of students. An English-medium co-educational facility offering the ICSE curriculum, IHS ensures student-friendly learning procedures in and beyond the classroom. Additionally, as a part of our core values, encouragement, positivity and self-confidence are behavioural skills which are made to amalgamate in everything that your child experiences and learns in school.

The true purpose of education is to empower children to think on their feet, understand who they really are and excel in whatever they choose to do. We at Indian high school are committed to equip children with the right balance of knowledge, skill and self-confidence for them to make the most lucrative decisions in their lives. We measure our performance by our students’ excellence in academics and co-curricular activities, in addition to developing an enduring interest in sports.

At Indian High school, students have exposure beyond books and academia. Several activities are designed to cater holistic education that enables students to develop into confident, poised, young adults who are equipped and ready to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and demanding world.
